A new study was also conducted among 50,000 men in their middle age. The study takes into consideration other factors like smoking, caffeine intake, physical activity and weight. The research is also limited among men with good health. Findings show that more than one third of the subjects experience erectile dysfunction onsets. However, those who are taking anthocyanins, flavanones and flavones on their diet less likely suffer such condition. Hence, it only shows that diet plays a major part in managing ED issues.

The best sources of anthocyanins, flavanones and flavones are blueberries, strawberries, apples, red wine, citrus products and pears.
